You are going to visit a Protected Natural Area, which has been part of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve since 2009.
Its special biological and landscape characteristics, together with the ethnographic elements and the Roman archaeological site, give it a high environmental value worthy of conservation.
Due to the fragility of the resources, and in order to conserve this space and make it compatible with public use, the Master Plan for Use and Management of 2006 establishes a load capacity of 200 simultaneous visitors. Said load capacity requires authorization to access the islet, which will be free, personal and non-transferable, and totally independent of the means of transport used to reach this Natural Park.
